Severe Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, the general rule is that when Kettering Schools close or delay, St. Charles School will close or delay also. This is the policy for weather conditions only, not for holidays or specific teacher meetings, or school calendar differences.
Announcements concerning emergency closings will be made on the radio and TV beginning at about 6:00 a.m. Any other emergency that may affect the school day will be announced on the radio and TV. The St. Charles School name will appear individually.
If Kettering is open on a normal schedule AND your district of residence is on a delay, St. Charles School will be open on a normal schedule. Students arriving late because of the district’s decision to delay transportation will not be counted as tardy.
On days in which St. Charles School is on a delay, there will be no morning Preschool or Transitional Kindergarten. Daycare for preschool students will begin at 9:40.
Kroger Community Rewards
Please remember to register your Kroger Plus Card. Each April you are required to renew your rewards program. Kroger sends St. Charles a check quarterly if you link your Kroger account to our school.
This is a simple and easy way for St. Charles to earn money back.
Deeming St. Charles as your rewards program recipient does not affect your gas points.
Thank you for supporting St. Charles School.
