All of St. Charles’ music ministry ensembles will be involved in this special music service, including the adult choirs, children’s choir, and the school music ministry. Tenebrae is a solemn service of light and darkness. Its origins date to the 5th century. Tenebrae uses music, sound, and silence in prayerful preparation for the Easter Triduum. The format and structure are very similar to Evensong, Evening Prayer, or Vespers. Please join us for an evening of prayerful reflection before our Triduum celebrations!
