Greetings City of Kettering Volunteers
I hope you are safe, well, and looking forward to brighter days ahead! Just wanted to give a quick update on the status of our volunteer program. As we recover from the pandemic and the comfort level of our volunteers increases, we are beginning to bring volunteers back into our operations. Currently, volunteers such as youth sports coaches and income tax preparers have returned to volunteer roles. We are also enlisting the help of volunteers as some of our special events begin to take place.
In addition, plans to open Fraze Pavilion are underway. Typically, the season opens in late May or early June. That will not be the case this year. We are looking at a possible opening in July or later in the summer.  If you've volunteered at Fraze in the past and would like to help again this year, please reply to this email as I am compiling a list.  Also, if you've not volunteered at Fraze in the past and have an interest in volunteering this summer, I'd like to hear from you! As others will tell you, it's a great opportunity to meet people while enjoying the great outdoors! Of course, we will ensure safety precautions are taken.

We are also looking for volunteers (age 14 and over) interested in helping with summer camps. These take place at Rosewood Arts Centre, Habitat Environmental Center and Kettering Recreation Center. Volunteers can help for a week or all summer long! We will work with your schedule.
Currently, we are working with each department regarding the return of volunteers. We hope to have everyone back again very soon. We miss you!
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me by email or phone 937-296-2531.

I am currently a freshman nursing student at Saint Louis University. I would be happy to be a regular babysitter throughout the week, or if you just need someone periodically. I have previous babysitting experience and would be happy to give you a reference to a family that I have babysat for previously. I will be available starting June 8th through August 27th. If you are interested feel free to contact me at (937)-474-9315 or at mksprauer@gmail.com.
