Retired Staff Spotlight of the Week! |
It is with mixed emotions that I announced my choice to retire from St. Charles Borromeo School after 36 years of teaching. This school has been my home more than my workplace and I miss my school family.
All of my plans for how I would begin retirement with substitute teaching, traveling with my husband, and volunteer work have been put on hold during the pandemic. Instead I have been indulging in house repairs, stepping up my craft projects, and reading everything I can put my hands on! I walk throughout the city to get some exercise. Wave if you see me!
As I look to the future and hope that the opportunities for growth continue to invigorate me as teaching has done these many years, I will wish the very best to the students, families and staff of St. Charles.

Videographer Needed!
The St. Charles Music Department is in search for a Videographer to film and edit our Virtual Christmas Performance and our Spring Broadway Bound Musical.
We are looking for this position to be filled quickly, so we can move forward with filming. Thank you!

Intramural Basketball is On!
Registration for Intramural Basketball is now Open!
Intramural Basketball is for Boys and Girls in grades 1-3 and will be on Friday nights starting mid November and run for 6 weeks
*Due to current restrictions, only one spectator per player will be allowed*

Do your Christmas shopping online while promoting a just wage for workers and benefiting Catholic Relief Services AND join us for an online event full of performers, stories from Santa, a Q&A with a fair trade artisan, and speakers on topics such as ethical consuming, working rights, fair trade, etc.
The whole weekend of November 21 and 22, we will post a wide range of exciting videos and opportunities to shop with SERRV and our other international vendors from past years.
