Dear St. Charles Community,

We ask that you keep Brian Heckman, a parent of one of our students in your prayers this week. Mr. Heckman was in an accident this past weekend and is in need of our healing prayers.  We are looking for as many prayers and healing thoughts as possible, as he fights through this trauma . We ask that the family’s privacy be respected at this time.

God of Love,

Ever caring, ever strong, stand by us in our time of need.
Watch over our friend who is sick, look over him in every danger,
and grant him your healing and peace. We ask this in the name of Jesus the Lord.

Thank you for your prayers,

David Bogle
Principal

New Staff Spotlight of the Week!
Hello! My name is Deme Crinion and I'm the new Pastoral Associate for Adult Faith Formation here at St. Charles! I'm originally from California and studied Communications and Theology/Religious Studies at the University of San Diego. Work has moved our family from one Air Force base to another until we finally landed here in Ohio 7 years ago. I still miss the ocean but do love a good snow day, and we couldn't be happier to call St Charles home! My husband James and I have 4 kids at the school - Mia (8th), Sully (5th), Jack (4th), and Livy (Kinder). I work in the Faith Formation office down in Walsh Hall and love being able to work with our parish and school families!
Retired Staff Spotlight of the Week!
We had many staff members that retired at the end of a very strange year. Some did not get to say goodbye, so we are spotlighting one each week.
Reenie Boecker- Office Secretary
Retiring from St Charles was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. Not getting the chance to say good-bye to everyone made it that much harder.
I worked at St. Charles school for ten years and enjoyed each and every moment of it. It never felt like work because my co-workers always felt like my second family. They were all so wonderful, and Mr. Bogle is such a gift to St. Charles. My greatest joy was the children. The minute these precious faces came into the school office I always got a smile on my face. The parents of St. Charles should be so proud of the great job they are doing raising such beautiful children. As for retirement , I've not been able to enjoy it yet. I've had some health issues but I hope with my upcoming surgery I will be good as new, then, I plan on spending a lot of time with my 11 grandchildren. With all the covid restrictions I haven't had any quality time with them. I also plan on volunteering at St. Charles wherever I am needed. That is why I am not ending this with a "goodbye" but with a " God Bless you" and I hope to see you soon.  Reenie Boecker
November is Canned Food Drive Month at St. Charles School.
