New Staff Spotlights of the Week!
Greg Romer- I am a native to the Dayton area and the St. Charles community. I attended St. Charles as a youth and then went all the way across the parking lot to Alter. Upon graduating from Alter, I went to Marian University of Indianapolis where I spent the last three years living and praying at Bruté College Seminary while taking classes on campus at Marian. It was here that I really dove into my faith both intellectually and spiritually. When I'm not busy with school or work, I can be found in the outdoors. I enjoy cycling, ultimate frisbee, disc golf, basketball, hiking, backpacking, and learning new skills. I have already enjoyed coming to know your children thus far in the year and I look forward to a time when we can be together face to face!
Hello! My name is Becky Mueller. After taking time away to raise my family, I am thrilled to return to teaching Language Arts and joining the St. Charles staff . I previously taught high school English, and I am LOVING my time with the 6th and 7th graders upstairs this year.
My family has been a part of SCB for eight years now. My own children - Colin (5th), Noah (3rd), and Megan (1st) - led me to many
volunteer opportunities at school. I spent last year as an aide in a preschool classroom and jumped at the opportunity to teach in the junior high.
Last Week to donate glasses to St. Charles School!

CYO St. Charles Soccer Season Review!
Over 120 children in grades 3-8 participated in fall CYO soccer at St Charles in what was a another very successful season.  Our teams were a combined 38-33-5 and both the 7/8 boys and 5th grade girls finished as league champs with records of 9-0-1 and 9-1 respectively. The 7/8 girls finished in second place with a record of 7-3. Most importantly, everyone got playing experience and we made it through an entire season with minimal interruptions due to COVID-19...for that we thank all the coaches, parents and players for complying with the guidance set forth by CYO.
This Season a Flu Vaccine is More Important than Ever!

According to the CDC, getting a flu vaccine is more important than ever during 2020-2021 to protect yourself, your family and your community from flu. A flu vaccine this season can also help reduce the burden on our healthcare systems responding to the COVID-19 pandemic and save medical resources for care of COVID-19 patients.  If you or your child has not had the flu vaccine this season, St. Charles is urging you to do so as soon as possible. Please help the St. Charles School community stay safe, stay healthy and stay in school.

St. Charles will NOT be offering the flu vaccine to students; however, there are many places that you can go to get a flu vaccine:
  • Call your child's primary health care provider (always the best option).
  • Visit a Walgreens Pharmacy, CVS Pharmacy, Minute Clinic, or Dayton Children's Pharmacy (main or south campus) for ages 7-21 years.
  • Book an appointment online at Dayton Children’s Kids Express in Springboro, West Chester or Mason (6 months to 21 years).
Daily Health Check
Parents please follow these guidelines daily.
When you call in your students absence please be prepared to give symptoms, as we are required to ask.

If you have Covid related questions or concerns please contact the school office or the school nurse between the hours of 8am-3pm.
