SOFT TOUCH CAR WASH COUPONS!
A special thanks to the families that have already purchased the Soft Touch Car Wash coupons.  Based on the early sales returns from the grade school and the St. Charles parish community, it appears this fundraiser will be successful.  If you will be using the coupons soon, we would like for you to purchase the coupons in the next week or so if possibly.  If you would like to purchase the coupons later in the year, keep the envelope and order form that you received the week of September 14 to purchase your future coupons.  You can purchase the car wash coupons anytime during the year through both the school office and the church office or our website:  kofc14995.org.  The coupons are usually valid for 9 to 12 months from the time of purchase.  We will all need our cars washed during the winter months.  Do not forget that these coupons will make excellent Christmas gifts.  Thanks for supporting Catholic High School education.
Low Income forms were sent home to all families last week.
Please remember to return to school by Thursday.

Thank you for your help collecting this data.

New and Used eyewear recycling program
Donation box will be located in the church gathering space and at school. If you would like to send in glasses please have your student give to their homeroom teacher.

Pope Francis' encyclical Laudato Si', called on mankind to care for Earth, our common home. Two years ago  St. Charles Borromeo earned recognition as a Laudato Si’ parish for its earth friendly programs and practices. Despite the challenges the parish has faced in 2020 the committment to care for the environment is on-going.  Beginning Oct. 4 through Oct 18 the parish will be collecting new and used eyewear for recycling and donating to people in need around the globe.

Our donations will be forewarded to VSP Eyes of Hope, a not-for-profit that refurbishes and distributes new and gently used eyewear worldwide. You can give the gift of sight to adults and childrenby donating prescription glasses, sunglasses or readers that you no longer use. This is  recycling at it's best and also is a great way to honor St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of the environment whose feast is celebrated in October.

Information about VSP Eyes of Hope and a donation box where eyewear can be deposited will be found at the display in the church gathering space starting Oct.4.
Donations may be made daily, 5:30 am to 10 pm through October 18.
Please no broken or damaged eyewear or cases.
