Dear Parent(s),

St. Charles school in partnership with local churches, businesses and individuals have created a special program for some of the children in Kettering schools, called “The Backpack Program.” This program was designed to nutritionally support some of our students in need over the weekends. Our resources are limited, so only sign up for the program if it is something your child NEEDS.
If your child participates, each Friday from now until the end of the school year, he/she will bring home a small bag of simple, healthy, kid-friendly foods to help with nutrition over the weekend.
No information about your child, or your family, will be shared with any agencies. This is strictly through the guidance counselor and principal at school. If you would like to participate in this program please email bwill@stcharleskettering.org or call me at 937-660-3753.

Some food items in the backpack may contain food allergens. If your child has any food allergies, please make sure to check the ingredients of the items in the bag. If the ingredients are not listed, you may request a list of ingredients from bwill@stcharleskettering.org

Sincerely,

Brittany Will
