Is your runner interested in running Cross Country this Fall? The Carroll Cross Country Youth Team is looking for interested
5th-8th graders.
Cross Country is an awesome sport where teams of runners race on a course over grass, trails, creeks, and hills. Our team of experienced coaches is ready to help your athlete learn how to run or fine-tune their running skills!
The races for the
7
th
-8
th
graders
are 2 miles, and many of the races also have 1-2 mile races for
5
th
-6th graders.
Summer Conditioning has started, with regular trainings starting August 1. The season will run from late August to mid-October. Most meets are on Saturday mornings, although there will be a few during the week. The schedule is in the process of being set.
If your runner plays other sports, no problem! As long as they can get to a conditioning/training when they can, we can take each race entry on a week by week basis.
