End of the Year Instructions

The school building and classrooms will be open for families to enter the building to collect student belongings that were left behind.  We will collect textbooks and chromebooks at the end of the month.  I ask that families adhere to the following schedule to reduce the amount of people in the building.  All exterior doors will be open to minimize traffic throughout the building.
I ask that families check temperatures before leaving home, if you or your children are sick that you remain home, maintain safe social distancing at all times and use hand sanitizer frequently.  We ask that you touch as few surfaces as possible, only visit rooms and spaces that are necessary,  and once you have retrieved your belongings I ask that you quickly exit the building.  Those families unable to visit at these times can make an appointment at the end of the month to retrieve their belongings.

Day of Giving Tuesday

As Catholics, we often think of stewardship in terms of “Worship and Prayer, Time and Talent, and Treasure.” During the pandemic, we are called to think about stewardship a little differently, as so many of our values center around physically being the hands and feet of Jesus in doing His work. This is more difficult while social distancing. What can we do? Make a meal for the St. Vincent de Paul homeless shelter, call a lonely friend or neighbor, or use our financial resources to help support the organizations we care about.

On Tuesday, May 5, St. Charles is joining other parishes throughout the Archdiocese in celebrating International Giving Tuesday. This campaign will help sustain parish operations at a time when offertory is decreased as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Any amount you are able to donate is greatly appreciated! Cash and checks can be mailed to the Parish Office, and one-time or recurring donations can be charged to a credit card through the  online giving link on our website .

Please indicate “Giving Tuesday” when you donate, either in the memo field on your check or by selecting the Giving Tuesday option when donating online. Thank you in advance for supporting your parish!
