Nursing Home Letters

St. Charles families contributed cards, artwork and letters for nursing home residents at the beginning of the COVID-19 quarantine, and the letters were met with a tremendous deal of joy from residents. We have a new appeal to work with our parish's partner nursing home, Oak Creek Nursing and Rehab, to bring some joy to their 80+ residents! Please have your children help to bring some cheer and color to the isolation that our local seniors in nursing homes are currently facing!

A box will be left in the school lobby beginning today. In your spare time, please think of those who are limited in their interactions with others and help spread some hope. Letters and cards can be addressed to "Dear Resident". Please turn in all cards/letters/art by April 30 to the school lobby. If you are unable to drop at school, or need an alternative arrangement, email Heidi at  h.steinker@hotmail.com . These cards bring so much JOY...it's a great way to help your children find a positive outlet and truly embrace the Easter season. God Bless!
