Pavers Available for Prayer Garden
St. Charles is once again offering the opportunity to purchase engraved pavers to commemorate a special person or event. These are perfect for occasions such as an anniversary, graduation, wedding, baptism, First Communion, Confirmation, birth or to remember a loved one.

Preschool News
Preschool Report Cards/Progress Reports will be going home Monday, April 29 for Mrs. Berry and Mrs. Braun's classes. On Tuesday, April 30 for Mrs. Barr and Mrs. Rogers classes.
Conferences can be held at your convenience.
Please contact Preschool teachers to schedule a conference.

LIBRARY UPDATE
All library books will be due the week on May 13 - May 17 on your child's library day. Books should be returned or lost books paid for during this week. The library inventory will begin on Monday, May 20, 2019.
Ms. Jen Buckner, Dayton Metro Children's Librarian will be visiting the TK- 4th grades on Friday, May 10, 2019, to discuss the Summer Reading Club. She will come back on Monday, May 20 to speak with the 5th and 6th grades about Summer Reading Club and the newest books. Dayton Metro Library Summer Challenge runs May 17 - August 3. Students may win prizes and incentives as they reach milestones along the way.There are active, hands learning experiences scheduled at the libraries. Most importantly students who participate challenge themselves and maintain their reading achievement over the summer.

Boys and Girls teams
Those eligible:
- Students 4th-8th grade
- Must be a current St. Charles Student or current St. Charles Parish/CCD member
Blue Sombrero Online Only Registration will be open from 4/8/19 through 5/17/19
*It is critical parents sign up Now and not wait until the Fall because # of teams and divisions are assigned by CYO end of May!
Cost is $55 (includes uniform).

Important Dates from our Nurse!
Hike or Bike to School Day - SAVE THE DATE
Our annual Hike or Bike to School event will be held on Wednesday, May 8th. On this day, students are encouraged to walk or bike to school. If you do not live close to the school....no problem! Simply drop your children off at Marinole Pool and they can walk or bike from there. Parents are also encouraged to participate. More details to follow.
6th Grade - Vaccines needed prior to 7th Grade
The Ohio Department of Health requires that all students entering 7th grade have the following immunizations:
- Tdap (must be Tdap, it cannot be Td) vaccine
- Meningococcal - Students are required to have 1 dose anytime before entering 7th grade
Forms will go home this week. Your child's health care provider can complete this form
OR
you can simply send in a copy of your child's vaccine record. We are asking that vaccines be on file with the school no later than 5/24/2018.
We know that your child probably already received these vaccines, but we still need to have them on file at school.
If you have plans to get this accomplished over the summer, please contact the school nurse to inform her of your plans.

This year’s theme, “To Mars and Beyond”, runs
June 24-28, 9:00 a.m. – Noon, in the PAC. Each morning is filled with Bible stories and activities, music, arts & crafts, games and more! The whole family is invited to join the fun as a camper or staff member.
