6th Grade - Vaccines needed prior to 7th Grade
The Ohio Department of Health requires that all students entering 7th grade have the following immunizations:
  • Tdap (must be Tdap, it cannot be Td) vaccine
  • Meningococcal -  Students are required to have 1 dose anytime before entering 7th grade
Forms will go home this week. Your child's health care provider can complete this form  OR  you can simply send in a copy of your child's vaccine record.  We are asking that vaccines be on file with the school no later than 5/24/2018.
Forms or vaccine records can be sent in to the school, faxed to 937-434-6692 or sent to  sullmer@stcharleskettering.org
We know that your child probably already received these vaccines, but we still need to have them on file at school.
If you have plans to get this accomplished over the summer, please contact the school nurse to inform her of your plans.
If you have questions, you may contact the school nurse at 433-3746 or  sullmer@stcharleskettering.o rg

 PARTNERS IN FAITH
Easter is the beginning of our new life. The best news is that we don't just celebrate it once a  year  - we can honor Jesus' Resurrection each week and whenever we want.
We would love to have you join us to Celebrate 25 years of Bible Camp!
This year’s theme, “To Mars and Beyond”, runs
June 24-28, 9:00 a.m. – Noon, in the PAC.  Each morning is filled with Bible stories and activities, music, arts & crafts, games and more!  The whole family is invited to join the fun as a camper or staff member.
Sign-up Weekend will be held after all masses April 6 th and 7 th in the Hospitality Room.  Staff members will be available with registration forms and to answer any questions.
Registration forms are available in the School Lobby, at Church and the Faith Formation Office.  Forms may also be printed from our parish website http://stcharles-kettering.org/bible-camp/.   For more information contact Faith Formation at 434-9272 or email bgregg@stcharles-kettering.org.
Thank you to all of our families that donated to our March canned food drive. Because of your generous donations our
Cub Scout Pack 813 was able to donate over 600 pounds of canned goods to our local St. Vincent DePaul food pantry.
Thank you for a wonderful day of donations and giving to others!
ST. CHARLES LENTEN ALMSGIVING

For Love of Children

We don’t normally think of Christmas during Lent. But at For Love of Children, it is a year-long process to replenish the shelves in their Toy Village that provides the only Christmas gifts some area youth may receive. Last year the program provided gifts for 1600 children from Montgomery County Children’s Services and two local schools. Because of the large number of families, limited time, and limited space, For Love of Children has learned to become very efficient and has set up their Toy Village like a mini supermarket. For that reason they are requesting very specific items, brand, size, etc. which will not only help their efforts, but also make your shopping easier. Please visit the display in the Gathering Space to pick up cards for items to purchase and donate. For more information go to  https://flocdayton.org/

  • For Love of Children provides financial, educational and advocacy support for youth throughout the Greater Dayton Area, serving children from newborn to age 18. They offer several programs and services. For our part, we will be collecting items such toys, dolls, stuffed animals, board games, pajamas, and slippers. For list of items please click on google document https://goo.gl/J34N5A

St. Mary Development

St. Mary Connect is their program which links residents in St. Mary Development Corporation's affordable apartment communities to services such as healthcare , insurance, meal programs and transportation. On their own, residents have extreme difficulty accessing many programs and often give up in frustration before receiving adequate needed care. This is bad for both the resident whose health deteriorates, as well as the community at large, whose tax dollars end up paying the cost of more expensive safety-net programs or nursing home care when a resident experiences a crisis.

  • St. Mary Development Corporation provides safe and affordable housing to low-income senior citizens. We will be collecting items such as household goods and personal hygiene items. Their website is stmarydevelopment.org. Some donation items include: RTA bus passes, paper towels, toilet paper, new socks, laundry detergent, soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste and hand soap.

Thank you for supporting our parish wide Lenten Almsgiving project.
All donations may be turned into your students homeroom teacher.
