Children's books will be collected from Tuesday,1/22/19 - Friday, 1/25/19. A volunteer will be at Walsh Hall doors during drop off to help collect your books. The homeroom with the most books per child will win an out of uniform day. Please mark your bags and boxes with the homeroom number.

The Used Book Fair will be set up in room 101 on Friday, 1/25/19 starting at 8:00 am. We have been doing this for years and have a great system for sorting and setting up the books. Volunteers working this day get the first chance to buy books. Please do not bring young children to these set up shifts.

Sponsorships from the Cincinnati Archdiocese

As a result of the One Faith, One Hope, One Love capital campaign that took place in the Archdiocese over the past three years the Archdiocese will again be offering a scholarship to families attending Catholic Schools, grades K-12. Information can be obtained through the website  http://catholicbestchoice.org/  Parents apply for the grant through the St .Charles FACTS Tuition Management and Grant & Aide website,  https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/3XKP4  by January 25, 2019. Those families who submit their 2017 tax returns and successfully register will be eligible for the Archdiocesan assistance program. Those families eligible for Ohio EdChoice Scholarships are not eligible for the Archdiocesan assistance. The fund is expected to give out two million dollars this year. This current school year 12 students received in excess of $11,000 in total scholarship funds.
Dear St. Charles Families,
Please extend to your students our heartfelt thank you for almost
900 pounds of food donated to the Harmony Creek Food Pantry.
Last year was 500 pounds, so a job very well done. Many of the neighbors in the St. Charles area will benefit from your generosity.
St. Charles can be proud of their hard work to help those fighting poverty. Also, we loved the decorated boxes!
Sincerely,
Carolyn Root, President Diakonia Neighborhood Outreach
Congratulations to Alter students, Madison Rooney, Mark Edsall, and Haley Lamb who received the Marian University San Damiona scholarship. Mark and Haley are Incarnation Alumni and Madison is a St. Charles Alumni. These students have shown true church leadership and plan careers where they will continue to explore God’s calling and make a difference in their community, church, and profession. May they continue to shine with God’s light, compassion and love of their faith, and may all our students be open to sharing their gifts from God.
