LIBRARY UPDATE
STEM FUNDING FROM PTO

The school PTO generously donated $1,000 to the library for STEM books. So far I have purchased 23 STEM books for a total of $494.45. The 23 books were displayed at a PTO meeting and a list was provided to the PTO.
This summer I uploaded the library collection for analysis and looked at the data to determine the areas of the collection that needed to be addressed in the STEM fields. Then I looked at book reviews and read books to find the best books for our collection. I plan on purchasing again in January and using the remainder of the money.
You can search our library collection online at  https://acld.follettdestiny.com . After you select St. Charles School and you can preview books, download e-books, audio books and Lightbox titles. If you have any questions, please contact me at  mbrown@stcharleskettering.org
Thank you for your support of the library!
