  • The safest drop off location is going through the drop off line.
  • If you are parking and walking your Kindergarten or older student into school, the only place you are permitted to park is in the back parking lot, do not use Alter's parking lot.
  • The parking lot between the church and the school is for preschool families ONLY.
These guidelines are to be followed by all parents.

2018 St. Charles Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts “Scouting for Food” service event on Thursday March 15, supporting
St Charles’ Almsgiving charity - HOMEFULL

This year, our St Charles scouts in Pack and Troop 813 will be collecting household cleaning products and non-perishable food items for Homefull which is one of our parish’s Lenten Almsgiving charities.

Homefull’s Homelessness Prevention program helps low-income households who are at risk of becoming homeless, by providing short-term financial assistance and longer-term case management. As an incentive for our Prevention clients to continue meeting with a case manager to help them remain stably housed, we want to periodically offer each household a “FoodPak” with nonperishable food and household items to help them stretch their budget.
Their most urgent needs are the household cleaning supplies listed below. If you have a reusable bag/tote to donate along with your cleaning or food item, they have a big need for those also.
The items don’t have to be exactly the same, but all food items do need to be nonperishable. We want to provide items that are convenient and, in the case of food items, reasonably nutritious. We hope that you will join us in this new project to help our neighbors escape the cycle of homelessness.
Sample “FoodPak” and “Starter Kit” Contents
Household Cleaning Items: All-purpose cleaner Tall kitchen trash bags, Bar soap,Dish soap, Laundry detergent, Sponges, 4-pack of toilet paper, Paper towels and Lysol wipes.
