High School Youth Ministry
Open to all High School youth of the parish grades 9-12. This ministry has something for everyone and usually meets on Sunday evenings from 7-9:00 pm in Walsh Hall. Each evening includes snacks, music, conversation, and exploring how to live your Catholic Faith that’s real. Our High School Youth Group incorporates spirituality, service, and socialization.
Mission Statement
St. Charles Borromeo Catholic community believes that young people are God’s gift to the Church; a gift that calls us into ministry to, with, by and for our youth. By the grace of the Holy Spirit, we serve the youth of our parish and their families. Therefore, we empower young people to live as loving disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today, draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community and foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person.
Scholarship
Each year a scholarship is awarded to a graduating high school senior who has been an active member of the parish. Monies are earned during the raffle at the Spaghetti Dinner. The winner is announced at the Graduation Mass in May.
