Faith Formation

In accepting Jesus’ command to “Go out into the whole world and proclaim the Good News . . .” (Mark 16:15), the Faith Formation Staff of St. Charles Parish aims to provide quality faith formation programs in an atmosphere that fosters an awareness of, or deepening of the faith of both students and adults.

The Office of Faith Formation strives to Provide:

Competent and faith-filled catechists who love children.
Texts and resources that support our Catholic Christian Tradition.
A classroom environment that is hospitable and safe.
An atmosphere that encourages reflection, dialogue and the opportunity to ask questions.
Liturgical celebrations (mass celebration of the sacraments) and prayer services that nurture a deeper prayer life and relationship with God.
Creative activities that help to foster authentic Christian community.
A program that takes into consideration individual family needs and concerns.
A staff that desires that children and parents have a positive experience of Church.
Encouragement to parents. We affirm parents’ distinctive role as the primary educators and evangelizers of their children, and we assist them in their mission.
