Vatican II: Its Meaning for Today – Dr. Dennis Doyle, University of Dayton
The Second Vatican Council (1962-1965) attempted to get beyond the impasse between itself and the modern world. It sought to bring the Church up-to-date by getting more deeply in touch with its biblical and liturgical sources. What did Vatican II have to say to its own time and how might it speak to us today?
